This plumbing application listing describes a steel elbow with DIN and grade 316L stainless references. Carbon Steel is the selectable material, while welded and NPT descriptions also appear. Confirm the actual material and end arrangement before accepting the component for the proposed plumbing connection.
Establish the supplied material and DIN basis
Request the actual grade, condition and traceability records to resolve the stainless title against the carbon steel option. Identify the numbered material and component specifications and their editions. DIN Standard wording does not supply that scope or an actual conformity document for the ordered elbow.
Agree the manufacturing and inspection records supporting the table entry FORGED. Define measurable finish requirements beyond smooth and corrosion resistant descriptions. Those terms do not establish a particular treatment, verified corrosion performance or acceptance of the actual component in the intended plumbing environment.
Confirm connection details and bend dimensions
Obtain the end drawing to clarify the welded reference and NPT table entry. Specify the preparation or thread requirements applicable to the supplied elbow and mating pipe. Do not assume that the two descriptions identify a single verified connection arrangement.
No angle or radius is given here. Define them with nominal size, outside diameter, wall thickness and center-to-end dimensions. The 1/2–12 inch range, repeated length or height entries and mounting-hole field are not actual measurements. Clarify Hexagon wording against the component geometry on the approved drawing.
Describe the plumbing system acceptance
Provide the medium, composition, treatment chemicals, contaminants, pressure, temperature, transients and cycles. Low Pressure and Not Rated do not establish numerical allowable limits, and plumbing wording provides no potable-water approval. Confirm material, dimensional, end and surface records, marking, preservation, availability and delivery, with OEM and warranty terms agreed separately.
