This carbon steel slip-on flange is presented for industrial water supply. Anti-rust coating appears in the title, while the original table records a polished finish. Establish the delivered surface scope alongside the selected flange type and material, rather than treating those finish labels as interchangeable.
Reconcile coating and polishing on the supply drawing
Identify which surfaces are polished, coated or left for joint preparation, with the required sequence and final condition. If coating is ordered, agree its specification, preparation, thickness, inspection and repair. If polishing is required, define measurable acceptance. Neither label supplies a protection lifetime or corrosion-performance guarantee.
Actual choices combine four materials with nine flange types, including slip on. Confirm the ordered carbon steel grade and slip-on construction using material and production records. Other options need their own specifications; the title does not establish the material or geometry of every combination.
Complete the slip-on interface and drilling requirements
The 1/2–120-inch range label needs confirmation for the individual nominal size. Select the governing ANSI-related document and edition, then request bore, pipe fit, attachment detail, facing, gasket seating, thickness and outside dimensions. Generic compliant wording does not replace dimensional evidence for the actual component.
Assign the table entries of four holes and 1/2-inch hole diameter to the selected drawing. Include bolt circle, tolerances, bolting and mating flange checks. These drilling entries cannot define every recorded size or type. Agree joint assembly, alignment and access for the proposed installation.
Validate the industrial water service
Provide water chemistry, pressure, temperature, cycling, corrosion conditions and external loads. Obtain acceptance for the selected steel, finish and joint, including any required water-contact criteria. No potable approval or numerical rating is supplied. Agree handling, inspection, testing, marking and material, dimensional and finish records with the quotation.
