This stainless steel 304/316 seamless butt-weld elbow enquiry requests a 90-degree long-radius change in pipe direction. Choose the actual material grade and obtain a selected bend drawing before confirming geometry, manufacturing acceptance and weld preparation for the intended route.
Choose the stainless grade and document its production
304SS and 316SS are alternative requested stainless designations. They do not identify a combined grade or qualify the Alloy and Carbon Steel choices. Request the governing material specification, selected grade and heat-traceable certificate; Alloy alone is insufficient for material selection.
Seamless and Forged need actual production and inspection records. Neither is established by the light finish of a photographed elbow. No numbered material or dimensional standard is supplied here, so confirm the requested document and edition rather than assuming a specific conformity.
Define the long-radius bend and matching welded ends
Specify actual angle, centreline radius, centre-to-end lengths and tolerances on the accepted drawing. Confirm nominal sizes, outside diameters and walls at both equal ends. The 10, 12, 14, 50 and 30 mm labels need nominal-system mapping; mounting-hole diameter 0.25 in does not define bore or radius.
Customized Size requires agreed dimensions and inspection criteria. Obtain selected end preparation, bevel and matching pipe walls with welding and acceptance requirements. Gallery curvature cannot qualify the selected 90-degree LR geometry, and no wall schedule should be assigned from appearance.
Coordinate coating with the actual service assessment
Define the paint system, treated surfaces and weld-surface requirements rather than treating gallery finish as delivery specification. Pipe Class 150 alone provides no numerical working pressure. Assess selected material, wall, bend and joint with medium, temperature and governing design conditions. Include chosen grade, complete bend/end drawing, production acceptance, coating and operating envelope in the enquiry.
