This 304 stainless elbow enquiry combines a long-radius 90-degree bend with SCH10S, SCH40S and STD wall references. The actual Elbow options do not separately identify a schedule or radius. Start by resolving one wall configuration for the selected variant instead of treating the three title labels as equivalent specifications.
Choose a documented wall designation for the nominal size
Ask which of SCH10S, SCH40S or STD applies, under what dimensional specification, and with what actual wall and tolerances. The single millimetre menu label does not define that package or establish the available size range. Explain its nominal convention and match both elbow ends to the adjoining pipes. A wall-series label alone does not determine an allowable pressure, and Equal cannot replace actual end measurements.
Check the long-radius drawing against the pipe layout
Obtain a drawing linked to the chosen option showing centreline radius, bend angle, centre-to-end dimensions and both outside diameters. Confirm the title's LR and 90-degree requirements against that drawing without assigning an unsupported radius multiplier. The dark and rougher curved photo examples support the elbow family, but do not establish actual radius, wall or material. Hexagon, mounting-hole and Customized Size fields leave those details unresolved.
Match the selected material to both butt-weld joints
Confirm exact 304 stainless material with complete specifications and traceability; neither 304L nor dual qualification is established. Alloy and Carbon Steel alternatives require separate exact materials. Define butt-weld preparation, wall alignment and inspection at each pipe end. Verify Forged from production records, keeping manufacture separate from joining. Clarify Painting and the required coating condition around weld zones. Establish the applicable dimensional standard and Class 150 material-temperature basis, then assess fluid, corrosion, pressure, temperature and mechanical loads using the resolved wall, bend and joint configuration.
