The ASTM A234 WPB SCH20 carbon steel concentric reducer enquiry needs a complete two-end drawing for the intended pipe transition. Select a listed DN option, then establish the large and small ends, wall dimensions and delivered connection before service acceptance.
Complete the selected DN transition
The three actual variants are Reducer / Carbon Steel / DN150, DN125 or DN100. One DN label does not define both ends or measured outside diameters and bores. Agree the nominal-size basis and identify the exact end pair without assuming a conversion from other dimensional wording.
Specify both walls, overall length, transition profile, concentric alignment and tolerances. SCH20 needs size-specific wall evidence. Repeated inch ranges for length, height and mounting-hole diameter cannot replace a drawing of the selected DN reducer.
Verify alignment and joining preparation
Two viewed references show dark transitions, including a grouped fitting scene and an offset-looking reducer. They do not certify a supplied concentric arrangement, exact size, grade or coating. Use the accepted supplied drawing and inspection results to confirm the required alignment.
Establish the delivered joining system with matching-pipe requirements and the applicable welding preparation or thread details. Clarify whether Welded naming concerns body production separately from installation welding. Forged naming needs evidence of the actual manufacturing route and inspection acceptance.
Qualify material and numerical service
Carbon Steel and A234 WPB wording require an accepted specification, grade, product form, delivery condition and traceable material records. Polished or corrosion-resistant descriptions do not identify protective chemistry or establish resistance to every medium.
Low Pressure provides a qualitative description, and Other class wording supplies no numerical rating. State medium composition, pressure, temperature, cycling, flow and external loads. Submit the full selected DN/SCH20 transition and end drawing, material/manufacturing records and inspection criteria together with the complete-joint operating basis.
