This pipe tee enquiry focuses on a WPB carbon-steel equal branch connection with butt-welding ends and ASME B16.9 requirements. The original source carries different geometry and manufacturing labels, so identify one selected model before accepting its specification. A three-end drawing and traceable records are needed to connect the title's requirements to the available size and material options.

Resolve equal or reducing branch geometry

State the nominal sizes and outside diameters of both run ends and the branch. The equal-tee title and Reducing table field do not define a single accepted configuration. Request the selected drawing, including end-to-centre dimensions and wall thickness or schedule, and explain the dimensional basis of the millimetre option. Photographs can help identify a tee form, but apparent branch proportions cannot replace measurements or assign equal geometry to every variant.

Identify WPB and the accepted construction

Select the carbon-steel alternative and specify the material standard governing the WPB requirement. Stainless-steel options need their own exact grade and supporting records. Ask for production and inspection evidence to resolve the Seamless/Forged and Casting labels before accepting a manufacturing route. No photographed marking establishes the material or construction of every option. Define bevel, land and end-wall matching for all three butt-weld ends; the Female/Male field alone does not qualify the connection.

Define acceptance for the branch joint

Agree the B16.9 edition, dimensional tolerances and inspection criteria for the offered item. Provide the mating pipe sizes, branch layout, fluid, operating pressure and temperature, corrosion conditions and joining requirements for engineering review of the complete joint. The Pipe Class 150 field does not establish allowable pressure-temperature duty, and Painting or mounting-hole labels do not qualify coating performance or tee dimensions. A complete enquiry joins one resolved three-end drawing with the WPB specification, documented production route and traceable acceptance evidence.
