This WPB A234 carbon steel tee listing refers to offshore oil piping with black-painted and high anti-rust wording. The main image supports a tee-shaped form, while the actual variants use Reducer labels. Confirm the selected fitting identity and actual finish before relying on either the geometry or coating description.
Verify the coating against the offshore exposure
Specify the coating system, color, surface preparation, coverage, thickness and inspection criteria required by the project. High Anti-Rust is not a measured corrosion result. Ask for treatment records and acceptance evidence matched to the intended salt, moisture and other environmental exposure.
The table only records Painting, and a photograph cannot verify coating chemistry, durability or the supplied finish condition. Confirm whether black-painted supply is included for the selected fitting and define any relevant internal and external surfaces. Offshore wording alone does not demonstrate an approved corrosion-protection system.
Confirm tee dimensions and the material package
Resolve the Reducer-labelled selection and Equal table entry with a drawing of run, branch and every end. Specify wall or schedule, center distances and butt-weld preparation. Choose an actual size from the half-inch to 110-inch entry and agree its metric dimensions; the photograph does not measure end equality.
Request governing B16.9 and A234 WPB documents, editions and full material condition with traceable reports. Carbon Steel and a234wpb are the two material labels for the same broad configuration. Obtain forged manufacturing and inspection evidence, and clarify any mounting-hole, Hexagon or thread fields against the supplied drawing.
Assess the selected offshore oil operating duty
Provide oil composition, pressure, temperature, cycling and imposed loads for material, joint and rating review. High Pressure supplies no numerical operating limit. Agree project tests and acceptance for the confirmed dimensions, manufacturing condition and coating requirements before using the fitting for the proposed offshore system.
