This ASME B16.9 elbow enquiry specifies stainless SS304 or 316, butt welding and a 90-degree bend. The actual Elbow variants establish the fitting family without assigning an exact grade, angle or radius to each choice. Use the title to define the request, then confirm the selected elbow's dimensions and material before acceptance.
Plan the bend envelope before matching pipe ends
Obtain a variant-linked drawing showing the actual bend angle, centreline radius and centre-to-end dimensions. Check that envelope against the installation space and adjoining pipe runs. Neither a long-radius nor short-radius form is independently established here. The reviewed curved photos support elbow identity, but their appearance and markings cannot qualify every supplied variant or determine its actual dimensions.
Connect each millimetre choice to a complete pipe specification
Clarify the nominal convention behind the selected menu label and record both outside diameters, walls and tolerances. Equal does not replace those measurements. No schedule is separately stated. Confirm butt-weld end preparation and the required alignment and inspection for both joints; include bevel and root details where the selected joining specification requires them. Hexagon, mounting-hole and Customized Size entries do not define the bend's pipe interface.
Document one stainless material and the B16.9 requirement
Select one exact material from SS304 and 316 with complete specifications and traceability, without assuming equivalence or dual qualification. Alloy and Carbon Steel choices need their own requirements. Identify the applicable ASME B16.9 edition and request dimensional inspection evidence for the actual elbow. Verify Forged separately from the welding connection; no seamless or welded-body route is established. Clarify Painting and required coating condition at joining zones. Class 150 needs a standard and material-temperature basis, followed by assessment of actual fluid, corrosion, pressure, temperature and mechanical loads across the bend and both completed joints.
