This equal tee enquiry carries ASME B16.9, A403 WP304, BW and SCH120 references. Its stainless title conflicts with the sole actual material option, Carbon Steel. Treat the title as a requirement to investigate, and hold material-sensitive selection until the selected tee has a reconciled specification and traceable material record.
Resolve WP304 against the actual carbon option
Ask which material and grade the offered tee actually uses, supported by records linked to that selection. Do not qualify stainless or carbon metallurgy from the contrasting gallery appearances. Avoid substituting a different material standard to make the listing appear consistent. Once resolved, assess corrosion and joining requirements against that documented material rather than the title alone.
Assign one equal tee size and SCH120 wall map
The half-inch to seventy-two-inch option and model entry describe a range-like label, not one chosen size or proven manufacturing capacity. Provide a drawing with all three nominal sizes, matching outside diameters, actual walls, branch/run relationship and centre-to-end dimensions. Map SCH120 to the chosen size and applicable dimensional system. The mounting-hole field does not establish an end diameter. Agree the applicable B16.9 edition and selected dimensional inspection before claiming conformity.
Qualify the branch welds and production evidence
Define BW preparation, alignment and inspection at the two run connections and the branch, using the actual adjoining pipes. Request production and inspection evidence for the pushing entry. Smooth and Polishing color do not establish corrosion resistance or acceptable weld-zone condition. Clarify the standard and unit basis behind Pipe Class 150 instead of treating it as allowable operating pressure. Provide fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion and branch loads for assessment of the entire welded assembly after the material conflict is resolved.
