Start this ASME B16.5 ANSI stainless forged socket-weld flange enquiry with the pipe connection you need to assemble. CNC-machined wording and the broad size range describe an enquiry basis; acceptance requires one fully defined supplied flange.
Match the flange to the pipe connection
The actual selections offer Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, with Blind, Weld Neck, Slip On, Socket Weld, Lap Joint and Threaded Flange under each material. Select the intended type and an exact nominal size within the 1/2"~24" range. Each flange type needs its own delivered end geometry.
Request the socket dimensions or other selected end preparation with bore and mating-pipe requirements. Agree the applicable B16.5 edition, type/size/class scope and facing. No individual pressure class is provided as an actual selection, and ANSI wording alone does not certify the assembled joint.
Inspect the supplied machining and material
Establish the stainless grade, product form, condition and traceable inspection evidence; the Carbon Steel alternative needs its own accepted material specification. Forged and CNC Machined naming require production records and agreed finish acceptance.
Verify flange diameter and thickness, facing geometry/finish, bolt circle, hole count, hole diameters and tolerances. The six-hole table entry and broad bolt-hole diameter wording cannot define drilling for every size/type. The viewed open-bore rings and mixed hubbed flange references cannot certify socket-weld delivery, grade, forging or drilling.
Submit a complete construction-joint package
Construction indicates application context without defining a numerical operating envelope. Review compatible gasket, fasteners, mating flange and assembly requirements alongside the selected pipe connection and inspection documents.
Provide actual medium, pressure, temperature, cycling and mechanical loads with the applicable material-temperature/class basis. Send the selected flange drawing and material/processing package together so fit, facing compatibility and complete-joint duty can be assessed before acceptance.
