This threaded carbon steel pipe flange enquiry references ANSI B16.5 and ASME B16.5. Stainless steel alternatives are also selectable. Establish the exact flange design and documented specification for the chosen item before matching it to a pipe joint.
Threaded interface and selected flange dimensions
Confirm whether your selected flange has a threaded or welded connection. For a threaded requirement, specify the complete NPT designation, gender and engagement; a welded requirement needs its own approved pipe-interface drawing. The size labels 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 50 mm and 30 mm need a confirmed nominal designation, bore and matching pipe dimensions.
Obtain facing, thickness, bolt-circle dimensions, hole count and gasket interface for that variant. The listed overall length of 9.1 inches, height of 10 without a unit and mounting hole diameter of 0.25 inches are not established dimensions for every selection. Gallery examples illustrate flange forms without qualifying the actual threaded design.
Material, Class 150 and exposure requirements
Select carbon steel or stainless steel and obtain the exact grade and traceability. Forged and Painting entries require manufacturing and finish confirmation for the supplied item. Class 150 and High Pressure wording do not define a fixed working pressure; assess the complete joint against its actual material, operating temperature and design requirements.
Underground, UV-resistant and chemical-resistant requirements need evidence for the selected finish and environment. Listed industrial applications do not independently qualify a flange for a particular fluid or installation.
Information for a B16.5 flange quotation
Provide the chosen material, nominal size, connection drawing, facing, mating pipe, gasket and bolting requirements. Include operating pressure, temperature, medium and exposure. Request the complete specification edition, dimensional inspection and relevant conformity documents so the proposed flange can be assessed against the required joint.
