This forged elbow carries socket-welding and female-thread wording in its title. A105 and carbon wording appear there as well, while the only variant is stainless steel. Confirm the actual material and end arrangement before assigning the listing to a particular piping specification.
Resolve A105, stainless and the selected class
Provide the complete required material designation, condition, governing document and traceability. Obtain certificates that identify the ordered component and clarify the title/variant mismatch. Neither record alone settles whether the selected supply follows the A105 reference or a stainless specification.
The title class marking differs from Class 150 in the table. Identify the actual class, governing rating basis and temperature/material allocation. Confirm the chosen B16.11 document and edition with the required conformity records; no operating pressure can be inferred by treating the different labels as equivalent.
Document the real socket and female-thread interfaces
Prepare an end schedule showing whether socket welding, female threading or another recorded connection applies to each end. Define socket preparation, any full NPT designation, mating dimensions, sealing and examination. The collection of terms does not establish interchangeable interfaces or availability of every configuration.
State nominal sizes, bend angle, radius, wall and tolerances on a drawing. Allocate the 15 mm option, 2.8 in length and 0.25 in hole to actual features, and supply the missing unit for height 1. Confirm installation clearance and exact size availability; no angle or wall schedule is recorded.
Set finish and operating acceptance requirements
Clarify the Black appearance wording separately from the material and agree measurable Smooth surface criteria. Obtain forging and inspection records, with storage protection. Specify actual medium, numerical duty, temperature, cycling, exposure and loads; require relevant resistance evidence and document material/joint acceptance with the resolved drawing, class, interfaces and test package.
