This 80-inch forged carbon steel welded pipe-reducer enquiry names B16.9, A234 and Class 150. Establish the actual supplied size and complete component drawing before treating large-diameter wording as an available selection or accepted standard coverage.
Establish the actual size and drawing
Fifteen actual reducer variants use 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 50 mm or 30 mm with Stainless Steel, Alloy or Carbon Steel. Confirm the exact nominal-size designations and measurement basis for delivery. The named 80-inch enquiry does not create an additional actual variant.
Request the selected subtype and both end sizes, outside diameters, bores, wall thicknesses, overall length, transition profile, alignment and tolerances. A single size label cannot specify a complete reducer. The two viewed dark reducer references, including an offset-looking form, cannot certify supplied size or alignment.
Check dimensional and material scope
Agree the applicable B16.9 edition and component/size scope with dimensional conformity evidence. Do not assume that every size named in an enquiry is covered without review. The accepted drawing must define delivered end preparation and fit to both mating pipes.
A234 wording requires an accepted material scope, grade, product form, condition and traceable inspection records for the chosen alternative. Carbon steel naming cannot assign a carbon grade to Stainless Steel or Alloy selections. Reference surface appearance does not establish a certified material.
Accept fabrication and service conditions
Clarify welded body manufacture separately from installation welding. Forged naming needs actual production evidence. Painting requires coating, surface preparation and inspection requirements; Hexagon wording and the mounting-hole entry cannot replace a full pipe-end drawing.
Class 150 does not establish one fixed pressure for every material and temperature. Provide the applicable rating basis, medium composition, pressure, temperature, cycling, flow and external loads. Complete acceptance combines the actual geometry and standards scope with selected material/manufacturing, coating and assembled-joint operating evidence.
