This forged carbon steel butt-weld elbow is listed for construction and gas enquiries with several angle references. The title also combines Sch160XXS wording, while the sole size option covers a half-inch to 12-inch range. Select the actual bend and wall specification before ordering.
Clarify the angle and combined wall designation
Choose the required angle from the listed 45/60/90/180 references and obtain its drawing. Ask for the complete selected wall designation and actual thickness behind Sch160XXS. Do not assume the combined text identifies equivalent specifications or creates separate variants with confirmed availability.
Specify one nominal size, sizing convention, radius and tolerances. Request actual length, height and hole dimensions instead of reusing the range shown in those fields. Explain the Hexagon head code on the drawing; it does not complete the elbow geometry.
Document forged material and the butt-weld arrangement
Obtain the complete carbon steel grade, condition, governing document and edition. The record does not select a grade or numbered standard. Confirm the forged route, material certification and traceability without importing seamless or long-radius details from another elbow.
Reconcile the butt-weld title with NPT in the table through an allocated end schedule. State preparation, full thread designation where applicable, matching parts, sealing and joint examination. Define measurable smooth-finish criteria and delivery protection as part of the agreed supply requirements.
Assess the chosen gas or construction operating conditions
Provide the actual gas or other medium composition, pressure and temperature envelope, cycling, external exposure and mechanical loads. Low Pressure and Not Rated do not confirm numerical duty for the selected bend; wall wording is not a rating approval. Substantiate corrosion suitability for that environment and agree material, interface, inspection and testing evidence before acceptance.
