This 4-inch B16.9/A403 WP304 butt-weld carbon-steel elbow enquiry needs an accepted component specification before purchase. The actual choice is Elbow / 10 mm / Carbon Steel. Establish the supplied size, material and ends on a drawing before accepting a complete fitting configuration.
Identify the supplied size on both ends
State the required nominal size and define what the 10 mm label measures. Show inlet and outlet dimensions separately. The 4 in overall-length entry is a different measurement and cannot establish the nominal pipe size named in the title. Height 4 has no stated unit; the 0.25-inch mounting-hole value is another distinct dimension.
Include angle, centerline radius, center-to-end dimensions, bore, wall and tolerances. Reducing shape wording needs explicit two-end geometry rather than an assumed reduction ratio. Photographs and faint markings on reference fittings cannot replace the accepted dimensional specification.
Agree material and end preparation
Request the selected material designation, edition, grade, product condition and inspection traceability. A403 WP304 wording and a carbon-steel choice do not establish an accepted grade or compliance package. Identify the applicable B16.9 dimensional requirements and obtain the corresponding evidence.
Define butt-weld preparation or female/NPT features by component and end, including any required mating interface. Agree the actual supplied arrangement instead of combining labels into an assumed configuration. Casting wording also needs production and inspection evidence appropriate to the accepted material.
Provide the operating acceptance criteria
Specify the application, fluid, relevant concentration, pressure, temperature, cycling, exposure and mechanical loads. Class 150 and low-pressure wording provide no standalone numerical duty. Flexible and corrosion, chemical or UV resistance labels need measurable acceptance criteria. Confirm installation and inspection requirements, requested OEM or ODM work, and the stated one-year warranty terms with the quotation.
