This line pipe listing targets oil and gas transportation with API 5L, grades X42, X52 and X60, seamless construction and a 4–24 inch range. The table lists stainless steel, ERW and outside diameters of 219–1066 mm. Confirm actual material, construction and size basis before comparing the offer with a line specification.
Reconcile grade choices and the ordered line pipe
The variants select thickness and length rather than separate grades. Request one documented supplied specification, grade, condition, traceability and inspection package. Resolve the grade references against the stainless table classification, and establish seamless or ERW production through manufacturing evidence. Do not treat the title grades as interchangeable properties.
Identify the API 5L edition, product coverage and required conformity documents. The original photograph shows bundled round pipes with open ends, which do not verify grade or route. Generic ASTM, API and ISO 9001 labels do not establish approval of the offered pipe for a particular transportation line.
Resolve nominal size and measured outside diameter
Clarify whether the title inch range describes nominal pipe size or measured diameter. Reconcile it with the 219–1066 mm table range on the selected drawing rather than assuming a direct equivalence. Specify the actual outside diameter, bore, wall and length for the line section.
Wall options are expressed as a 6–20 mm range, with 12 m or 6 m lengths. Set straightness, roundness, ends and mating-joint requirements. Define the measurement scope of ±1%, and confirm actual Cold Rolled finish, Non-oiled condition and protection. Photograph appearance cannot establish the selected size or dimensional fit.
Approve the actual transportation-line requirements
Provide oil or gas composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles and exposure. Assess the documented material condition, geometry and joints against that duty. Agree material, dimensional, surface, end and required project tests with criteria and traceable reports before approval. No numerical pressure rating, corrosion guarantee or service-life claim follows from the grade and application wording alone.
