This pipe fitting is offered for enquiries seeking a stainless steel weld neck flange with ANSI B16.5 Class 300 and forging requirements. Establish the actual selected fitting type and dimensioned neck/bore configuration before approving the joint. Photographs alone cannot qualify the supplied standard, material or class.
Match the neck and bore to the pipe
For a weld neck request, specify nominal size, pipe outside diameter and wall, bore, neck taper and height, flange thickness and tolerances. Include bolt-circle diameter, hole count and diameter, and the selected facing. The mating component must agree with the complete drawing rather than one size label.
Options of 10, 12, 14, 50 and 30 mm are insufficient to define this interface. Mounting-hole diameter 0.26 in is not pipe bore. Customized Size needs an approved dimension schedule and inspection plan, including the actual standard coverage.
Verify Class 300 documentation and selected material
Request the applicable B16.5 edition, dimensional/marking records and acceptance evidence for the selected configuration. Class 300 is not a standalone numerical working pressure. Stainless Steel, Alloy and Carbon Steel are distinct selections: confirm the actual material specification, precise grade, heat-traceable certificate and matching identification.
Forged requires actual manufacturing and inspection records. Welding needs selected end preparation, bore/wall compatibility, joining procedure and inspection acceptance. Stacked drilled rings and necked gallery components do not establish which construction or grade will be delivered.
Complete the sealing and service specification
Smooth does not identify a gasket-facing profile or measured surface roughness. Agree the facing, compatible gasket and bolting with the mating flange. Assess the actual material and complete assembly against pressure, temperature, medium and governing design conditions. Include selected fitting type, neck/bore and facing drawing, certificate, standard edition, weld requirements and operating duty with the enquiry.
