This stainless steel concentric reducer enquiry brings together 304 and 316 material references, B16.9 and seamless manufacture. The actual options identify reducer variants, while the retained table states Equal and Elbow. Resolve the selected transition before treating those entries or the title as a complete specification for supply.
Reconcile Equal with the requested two-end transition
A reducer request needs both connected pipe ends to be identified. Ask for a drawing linked to the chosen variant, showing each nominal size, outside diameter, wall and overall length. Obtain written clarification of Equal against the requested reduction; the table's Elbow label does not establish an offered elbow option. The reviewed tapered photos support the reducer family, but they do not measure either end or establish the supplied centreline relationship.
Define the concentric arrangement and size mapping
Confirm end-axis alignment on the selected drawing and how it meets the concentric requirement. The millimetre menu supplies a single size label rather than a complete pair of transition dimensions. Establish its nominal convention and match each end to the adjoining pipe, including wall designation and tolerances. No schedule is stated. Hexagon, mounting-hole and Customized Size entries cannot complete that dimensional package or establish an available size range.
Qualify the chosen stainless grade and production route
Select one exact material from the 304 and 316 references with its complete specification and traceability; neither equivalence nor dual qualification is established. Alloy and Carbon Steel options need separate material requirements. Request the applicable B16.9 edition and dimensional inspection evidence. Verify Seamless and Forged through production records, separately from the Welding connection entry. Define actual end preparation, joining inspection and coating condition beyond Painting. Clarify the standard and material-temperature basis behind Class 150, then assess the transition and both joints against actual fluid, pressure, temperature and mechanical loads.
