This stainless steel 304 weld-end pipe tee enquiry is intended for oil piping discussions. The available selection is TEE / 3'' ss304 / Stainless Steel. Before ordering, establish the actual joining interface, complete port dimensions and selected material documentation for the proposed oil service.
Define the three-inch tee by all three ports
Confirm how the 3'' ss304 selection maps to nominal pipe size and outside diameter. An equal tee request needs matching nominal run and branch ports on an accepted drawing; gallery examples cannot settle the selected proportions. Specify run-by-run-by-branch sizes, walls, centre-to-end lengths and dimensional tolerances.
The mounting-hole entry of 3 inch does not independently establish pipe bore. Overall Length 4 in and height 2 without a unit also require clarification against the selected drawing. No wall schedule should be inferred from a photographed component or its markings.
Resolve supplied ends and document the stainless grade
Obtain a selected end drawing before confirming welded or threaded delivery. For welded supply, state preparation, bevel and wall-matching requirements. A threaded version requires its complete NPT designation, port genders and engagement details. A weld-end enquiry title alone cannot qualify the delivered interface.
Request the governing material specification, actual 304 certificate and heat traceability. Forged requires selected production and inspection records. Smooth needs defined surface and inspection criteria; it does not establish measured roughness, hygienic cleanliness or suitability for every oil mixture.
Qualify oil exposure and the operating envelope
Provide oil composition, additives, contaminants, temperature and pressure for a material, wall and connection assessment. Not Rated and Low Pressure give no numerical working limit. Chemical, corrosion, UV and buried-service claims need actual exposure and installation evidence, while Flexible does not establish movement capacity. Include selected grade records, the complete port/end drawing, finish requirements and acceptance criteria with the enquiry.
