This carbon steel butt-weld fitting is presented for oil and gas pipelines. A seamless equal tee is named in the title, but the selectable products are labelled Reducer. Establish the actual fitting arrangement before using either shape as a confirmed supply specification.
Turn the size range into a component drawing
Specify the required end layout, nominal sizes, any branch and wall thickness. The Equal table entry does not resolve the difference between a tee and a reducer. Agree transition or branch dimensions only after the component has been identified.
The size option reads 1/2 inch to 110 inch; customized dimensions and Metric appear in the table. Record the exact order size, sizing convention, tolerances, length, height and installation clearance. Identify whether mounting holes are relevant, and verify selected size availability rather than treating the range as a complete dimensional schedule.
Verify seamless supply and the butt-weld interface
Clarify the seamless title reference and the FORGED table entry through actual manufacturing records. Allocate the production route to the selected component without assuming that labels alone establish conformity. Specify the complete carbon steel designation, condition and heat traceability; the a234wpb option does not automatically define both variants.
Confirm the chosen B16.9 edition and dimensional requirements alongside the applicable material specification. Define butt-weld preparation, mating wall, joint acceptance and examination. Resolve the customized thread wording separately. Agree measurable Plain surface criteria, protection and delivery inspection without importing a coating requirement.
Support oil and gas selection with duty evidence
Provide fluid composition, operating pressure and temperature, cycling, corrosion exposure and loads. The High Pressure description and Other class leave numerical limits unspecified. Include the resolved drawing, material and production records, welding requirements, surface criteria and inspection/testing documentation in the quotation for the actual operating conditions.
