This forged welded branch-tee enquiry is presented for oil, gas and fluid transport. Stainless steel appears in the title, but material options read Carbon Steel and a234wpb. The Equal table entry also differs from the actual Reducer type, leaving both delivered material and fitting shape to be resolved.
Confirm material identity before assessing oil or gas duty
Obtain the complete ordered steel designation, governing specification and edition, condition, heat traceability and certificates. If A234 WPB is selected, allocate its requirements explicitly. The stainless title cannot define every carbon-labelled option, and appearance cannot settle grade or corrosion suitability.
Provide actual medium composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycling and external loads. High Pressure wording has no numerical value. Acceptance must cover the selected material, wall and joint arrangement; neither an oil/gas context nor a material label establishes sour-service or universal compatibility.
Settle branch geometry against the Reducer options
The broad 1/2–110-inch size label does not confirm individual availability. Request an accepted drawing showing whether the item has tee run/branch ports or reducer inlet/outlet ends. Define nominal sizes, dimensional system, wall, complete geometry, mating pipe data and installation space for that supplied shape.
Customized overall length, height and hole fields contain no dimensions. Hexagon head wording needs its component identified, and any customized thread needs a location and specification. No schedule or dimensional standard is supplied here; choose the project requirements with supporting dimensional records.
Allocate production terms and the actual weld detail
Clarify how Seamless, Forged and Welded apply to manufacture and connections using process evidence. Specify end preparation, joining, Plain delivery finish and protection. Coordinate fitting orientation and alignment, then agree inspection, testing, marking and material, production and dimensional documents before accepting the quotation.
