This Class 150 painted carbon steel pipe cap is listed with seamless and butt-weld title descriptions. The table instead records Flange connectivity. Clarify the offered design before choosing a connection, while retaining the carbon steel cap identity supported by the single actual variant.
Agree one connection drawing for the selected cap
The variant is Cap / 10 mm / Carbon Steel. Request the meaning of the size label and a consistent end-interface designation. Neither butt-weld nor flanged construction can be accepted as the final selection from the conflicting descriptions alone.
Specify nominal size, actual outside dimensions, wall and tolerances. Once the interface is resolved, obtain applicable end preparation and mating-pipe details or flange face, drilling and sealing requirements. Allocate the four-inch length, quarter-inch mounting hole, round shape and hexagon head rather than treating them as complete sizing information.
Confirm seamless manufacture and painted supply details
Ask for records supporting the seamless title description and machining table entry, including production route, blank/material traceability and examination. Establish the exact carbon steel grade, condition and governing material and component documents. This source does not name A234, WPB or B16.9 requirements.
Painting needs an agreed coating system, preparation, thickness and acceptance criteria. Describe the actual exposure and require supporting evidence for corrosion, chemical or UV resistance. Flexible and underground labels also need project-specific verification; a general feature list does not certify the cap for every installation.
Define duty limits and the inspection package
Provide medium composition, operating pressure, temperature, cycling, external conditions and mechanical loads. Request selected material, coating, joint and rating evidence for that envelope. Low Pressure and Class 150 do not provide numerical operating limits here. Agree dimensional checks, examination/testing and documents after resolving the cap design, rather than relying on the broad industry list.
