This water pipeline listing describes a stainless steel blind flange with JIS B2220, 10K and S304 references. It also uses Welding and Anti Corrosion Coating wording, while the table lists Polished. Confirm the actual closure drawing, material and supplied surface treatment before agreeing the order.
Define the blind closure and JIS requirements
The Stainless Steel blind option is selectable. Specify the nominal size, facing, thickness and complete drilling pattern under the applicable JIS B2220 edition and selected 10K requirements. Welding in the title does not identify the installation method for the actual blind closure; obtain the project joint details.
Four half-inch holes are listed in the table and need verification against the mating flange. The shared 1/2–120 inch range does not confirm every size and material combination as available. Do not transfer a drawing or acceptance requirement from another selectable flange type without review.
Clarify the grade and surface package
Request the exact supplied material designation, condition and traceability records supporting S304. The generic Stainless Steel selection does not establish a more specific grade or an equivalent designation. Confirm the material requirements under the actual purchase specification rather than inferring them from the short title code.
Ask how the proposed coating and Polished finish apply to the supplied component. Define the treatment, covered surfaces, relevant thickness or finish criteria and inspection requirements. Anti Corrosion wording does not provide coating performance evidence or a general corrosion guarantee, and the actual surface package remains to be agreed.
Review the water pipeline conditions
Provide water composition, treatment chemicals, contaminants, temperature, pressure, transients and cycles for assessment. Confirm the allowable service and joint requirements for the selected material and 10K design without assuming another class is interchangeable. Agree inspections, records, marking, preservation and delivery; no potable-water approval is established here.
