This stainless steel flange enquiry has one actual 160 MM Blind Flange combination. The title also carries weld-neck, hot-dipped galvanized and RT testing wording. Accept the actual supplied construction and documentation before qualifying a closure or mating component for the selected pipeline joint.
Define the actual component and what 160mm measures
Obtain matching supplied-product identification and an accepted drawing. Establish whether 160 MM denotes nominal size, outside diameter or another dimension. Specify outside diameter, thickness, facing, solid closure or bore geometry, any neck/end details and dimensional tolerances.
Open flange examples, including one with visible internal threads, do not establish the actual delivered subtype or thread specification. The two bolt-hole entries carry the same broad range without defining one diameter unit, pattern or count. Require exact hole diameter, count, bolt circle, spacing, tolerances and fastener clearance.
Accept the material, coating and inspection requirements
Request the exact stainless product material specification, selected grade and heat-traceable certificate. No particular numbered stainless alloy is established. Confirm the governing numbered flange standard, edition, pressure designation and material-temperature basis together with the accepted mating arrangement.
Hot-dipped galvanized wording requires an agreed coating specification, applicability, extent, thickness and inspection evidence. The Other surface entry and example colour do not certify that treatment. RT testing wording requires accepted method and scope, governing criteria and a supplied-product report; it does not prove completed or successful testing.
Qualify the complete closure or joining assembly
Model 3642 is identification rather than a design standard, and Pipe Lines Connect does not approve an actual fluid. Evaluate medium composition, temperature, pressure cycles and the complete mating flange, gasket, fasteners and any end connection. Enquire with actual construction, size basis, full drawing, material certificate, coating and inspection requirements, governing designation and operating duty before installation acceptance.
