This construction gas listing describes a carbon steel 90-degree long-radius elbow with Forged and Seamless references. The Carbon Steel elbow option is selectable. Confirm the actual bend drawing, supplied ends and production evidence before matching the component to the gas-system requirements.
Define the long-radius gas piping bend
Specify nominal size, outside diameter, wall thickness, bend angle, actual radius and center-to-end dimensions. Long Radius wording does not supply a measured radius or a universal numerical multiplier for the order. Review the proposed bend against the pipe layout and mating connection dimensions.
The 1/2–12 inch option is a size range, and its repetition under length, height and mounting-hole diameter is not actual geometry. Clarify Hexagon wording on the selected drawing. Confirm the exact size and configuration are available before agreeing the purchase specification.
Resolve ends and manufacturing acceptance
The welding connection reference requires clarification because NPT is also listed in the table. Obtain the actual end drawing and mating-pipe requirements. Agree the preparation or thread inspections applicable to the supplied component rather than assuming both descriptions identify one verified arrangement.
Request material grade, condition and traceability records, together with the production inspections supporting Forged and Seamless. Identify the selected material and component specifications. Define measurable surface criteria beyond smooth and corrosion resistant descriptions, which do not demonstrate an actual treatment or corrosion performance.
Establish the construction gas acceptance basis
Provide gas composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, transients and loads. Low Pressure and Not Rated leave numerical allowable limits unestablished, and no gas-system approval is supplied here. Assess the actual elbow and joint under the project requirements, then confirm inspection records, marking, preservation and delivery, with OEM and warranty terms agreed separately.
