This ERW carbon steel pipe is listed for oil and gas enquiries with a cold-rolled surface and a Grade B A106 reference. ERW appears in both the title and technique field. Verify the exact material specification and its applicability to the offered manufacturing route before treating the combined wording as demonstrated conformity.

Confirm the material reference and certification scope

Request the governing document, edition, grade condition and selected supply scope, supported by traceable material reports. The A106 reference needs to be reconciled with the actual ERW manufacture and its required acceptance criteria. Do not infer another pipe standard or a seamless route to fill that documentation gap.

API Certified in the original title is a claim requiring verification. Obtain the actual certificate, issuer, scope and validity, and check how it relates to this selected pipe. The API and ISO 9001 table labels alone do not supply those records or establish product approval.

Define the cold-rolled pipe dimensions and tolerances

The recorded outside diameter range is 219–1066 mm. A 6–20 mm wall range is paired with 12 m or 6 m length in the two variants. Select one complete size with end requirements and confirm availability, rather than assuming the range establishes every combination.

The table gives ±1%, while the title uses 1% tolerance wording. Agree the controlled dimension and accepted deviations for inspection. Verify the cold-rolled, non-oiled and round supply condition, with dimensional and weld inspection requirements appropriate to the selected specification and project.

Review the proposed oil or gas operating conditions

Identify the fluid composition, pressure, temperature, cycling and loading for material, joint and rating assessment. Request relevant test reports and project acceptance evidence. Oil, gas and drilling application labels do not establish a numerical pressure limit or qualify the pipe as a drill-string component.
