This steam pipeline listing describes a painted forged steel tee with EN 1092-1, PN25 and A234 WPB references. Alloy Steel appears in the title, while Carbon Steel and a234wpb are the material labels and the types are marked Reducer. The original image supports a tee form; confirm the actual ordered component.
Confirm component scope for the tee
Ask the supplier to demonstrate how the stated EN 1092-1 and PN25 references apply to the proposed tee. Obtain the correct component specification, edition and drawing rather than treating the combined title as proof of conformity or one universal pressure-temperature rating.
Define run and branch sizes, outside diameters, wall requirements, center-to-end dimensions and actual welding ends. Equal does not provide measured geometry. Confirm the selected variant and availability within the broad 1/2–110 inch range, with agreed units and tolerances beyond Customized Size, Metric and Hexagon entries.
Resolve material and paint evidence
Request grade, condition and traceability records to clarify the alloy title against the carbon and WPB labels. Identify the actual material specification and edition. A234 WPB wording does not replace supplied documentation, and the image cannot establish the grade or material condition.
Agree production records supporting FORGED and define paint chemistry, covered surfaces, thickness requirements and inspection criteria. Painting and a dark visual surface do not prove the supplied treatment or performance. Connect material, dimensional, end and paint acceptance to the approved drawing and purchase requirements.
Describe steam duty and thermal cycles
Provide steam conditions, condensate, contaminants, pressure, temperature, thermal cycles, transients and loads. High Pressure and Other class leave numerical allowable limits unspecified. Assess the actual tee and joint under the pipeline requirements, then confirm inspection records, marking, preservation and delivery. Agree OEM requests and warranty terms separately from service acceptance.
