This custom-size forged seamless stainless steel butt-weld elbow enquiry requests a 90-degree change in pipe direction. Define the actual custom dimensions and selected material on an accepted drawing before confirming manufacturing, end preparation and operating requirements.
Make the custom drawing the dimensional reference
Customized Size needs agreed dimensions, tolerances and inspection criteria. Specify actual bend angle, centreline radius, centre-to-end lengths, nominal end sizes, outside diameters and walls. The selected equal-end arrangement must match the intended pipes; no long-radius designation is established here.
The 10, 12, 14, 50 and 30 mm labels require nominal-system mapping. Mounting-hole diameter 0.2 in does not define pipe bore or bend radius. Gallery examples and their markings cannot qualify the selected 90-degree geometry or wall schedule.
Agree material and production acceptance before welding
Stainless Steel, Alloy and Carbon Steel are distinct choices. Obtain the actual material specification, grade and heat-traceable certificate; Alloy alone is not a grade, and no numbered stainless designation is supplied. Define the required material and dimensional documents rather than assuming a standard from the general elbow wording.
Forged and Seamless need selected production and inspection evidence. For butt-weld supply, establish actual preparation, bevel, matching pipe walls and joining/inspection requirements. An accepted custom drawing should include both ends and all dimensions needed to assess fit before installation.
Specify paint extent and the complete operating duty
Define coating system, treated surfaces, weld-surface preparation and finish inspection; dark photo colour does not specify delivery. Pipe Class 150 alone gives no numerical working pressure. Assess actual material, wall, bend geometry and joint with the medium, temperature and governing design conditions. Include custom drawing, selected grade, route records, weld requirements, coating and normal/upset operating conditions with the enquiry.
