This pipe fitting is presented as a forged concentric reducer with polishing wording. Establish the actual fitting type and required reduction on a selected drawing before ordering. The available stainless, alloy and carbon steel selections also need their own material and finish confirmation.
Confirm the selected transition before custom sizing
For a concentric reducer request, specify large-by-small nominal sizes, outside diameters, walls at both ends, centreline relationship, end-to-end length and tolerances. Actual unequal end dimensions need confirmation. Gallery examples show tapered components, but do not establish the selected geometry or delivery identity.
The 10, 12, 14, 50 and 30 mm labels do not provide both ends of a reducing pair. Customized Size requires an accepted dimensioned drawing rather than an assumed custom configuration. Mounting-hole diameter 0.26 in does not establish either pipe bore or nominal size.
Define polishing, paint and the weld preparation
Clarify the selected treatment sequence before specifying a finish. State whether polishing, paint or a defined combination is required, which surfaces receive treatment, and the inspection criteria. Include any measured surface requirement. Photographic colour and texture cannot qualify the supplied finish or corrosion performance.
Request the actual material specification, grade and heat-traceable certificate for Stainless Steel, Alloy or Carbon Steel; Alloy alone is not a grade. Forged needs production and inspection evidence. Welding needs selected end preparation, bevel and matching pipe walls, with the required joining and inspection criteria. No schedule or dimensional standard is established here.
Assess the complete joint for the intended duty
Pipe Class 150 alone gives no numerical working pressure. Assess the actual geometry, material, wall, welded joint, medium, temperature and governing design requirements. No fluid compatibility or movement approval is established. Send actual fitting type, concentric reduction drawing, grade records, weld details, finish sequence and operating conditions with the enquiry.
