Set the material specification for this carbon-steel SCH40 butt-weld equal-tee enquiry before choosing connected pipe. The title names A234 WPB and A105 without assigning each reference to a particular supply choice. Confirm the intended designation and governing documents rather than assuming equivalence or simultaneous certification.
Allocate material references to the actual component
Two recorded variants use Carbon Steel or a234wpb wording with Reducer type and one 1/2-to-110-inch label. Obtain written confirmation of the delivered shape and full material grade, condition and traceability. The tee title and generic choices do not certify A105 supply or resolve actual configuration.
Select one requested nominal size and confirm individual availability; the range-like label is not a continuous supply schedule. Explain nominal versus measured conventions alongside Metric notation. Reference photographs support a branch-fitting discussion but cannot establish equal-end dimensions, alloy grade or production.
Specify the SCH40 drawing and butt-weld preparation
Provide run/branch end diameters, branch angle, center-to-end distances, actual wall/end thickness, preparation and tolerances. Identify the accepted SCH40 dimensional basis. Resolve Equal, Hexagon and customized length, height, hole, feature and thread entries through relevant component-drawing requirements.
Confirm the governing material/component documents and editions, manufacturing route and inspection evidence. Interpret FORGED and welded wording separately from Welding installation attachment rather than assuming a particular body seam. Agree Plain supplied surface condition without inferring protective performance from dark appearance.
Define construction or natural-gas acceptance
High Pressure supplies no numerical rating, while Carbon Steel under Pipe Class is material wording. State medium, pressure, temperature, cycling, loads, material compatibility and connected joint conditions. Listed applications need actual service approval. Agree material/manufacturing/dimensional and joint inspection, installation, marking/traceability, confirmed size availability, OEM scope and stated one-year warranty terms.
