This ASTM A403 WP304 stainless pipe elbow enquiry specifies a 90-degree LR bend for a change in pipe direction. Confirm the selected angle, long-radius geometry, material documentation and supplied ends before matching the elbow to a piping route.
Long-radius routing needs a selected bend drawing
Establish actual centreline radius, bend angle, centre-to-end dimensions and tolerances on the accepted drawing. A photograph cannot qualify the selected LR geometry. The 10, 12, 14, 50 and 30 mm size selections need a clear nominal-size and outside-diameter mapping, with both ends identified for equal or reducing supply.
Overall Length 4 in, unitless height 4 and mounting-hole diameter 0.2 in should be clarified separately. They do not define nominal pipe size or the bend radius, and no photographed wall marking establishes the selected schedule.
WP304 documentation and the actual mating interface
Request the governing material specification, applicable edition, selected grade and heat-traceable certificate. Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel are separate choices; WP304 does not qualify the carbon option. Casting requires actual production and inspection records assessed against the requested material specification.
Define the actual supplied connection, gender and mating dimensions. Male/Female alone is insufficient for a complete interface. A threaded version needs its full thread standard and designation; a welded version needs selected preparation and wall matching. Do not choose either arrangement solely from the open ends in gallery photographs.
Coating and duty assessment for Class 125 enquiries
Pipe Class 125 and Low Pressure do not establish a numerical working limit. Assess material, wall, medium, pressure, temperature and design requirements for irrigation, repair, heating, power, construction, marine or petrochemical service. Specify the paint system and exposure criteria; Flexible does not establish movement capacity. Include bend geometry, paired sizes, selected material records, actual ends and operating conditions with the enquiry.
