This polished RF carbon steel blind flange enquiry follows the A234 WPB and B16.5 title references. It concerns the carbon steel blind option within a broader product record. Confirm the chosen material, flange type and individual nominal size before assigning the title specifications to an order.

Identify the selected option within the full flange range

The record has 36 variants combining four materials with nine flange types. Materials are Alloy Steel, Aluminum, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel. Types include integral, weld neck, slip-on, socket-weld, lap-joint, threaded, blind, orifice and spectacle blind. Carbon blind, RF and forged wording does not describe every combination.

The sole size option spans a half-inch to 120 inches. Request the actual selected-size drawing, outside dimensions, thickness, face and tolerances. Allocate the listed four bolt holes and half-inch hole diameter to that drawing; these entries do not establish drilling for the whole range.

Confirm WPB, standard scope and polished RF acceptance

Obtain the complete material designation and condition, governing A234 and B16.5 documents and editions, and their applicability and conformity scope for the actual component. Request forging evidence, material certificates and traceability. The title references do not certify every listed size or alternative material.

Specify RF dimensions, measurable polished-finish criteria and the matching interface. Agree the applicable sealing, bolting and examination requirements, surface inspection and delivery protection. Confirm a pressure class and documented rating basis instead of deriving numerical duty from the broad dimensional range.

Qualify the chosen industrial application separately

Identify medium composition, pressure and temperature, cycles, exposure and loads. The extensive application list does not establish approval for every industry. Request evidence relevant to the actual service and agree the selected material, face, drilling, joint and inspection/testing package before supply acceptance.
