This ASME/ANSI B16.9 A234 welding tee listing mentions carbon steel and stainless steel in the title. Actual material choices are Carbon Steel and a234wpb. The stainless alternative needs separate supplier confirmation; title wording alone does not establish its availability or a second material certification.
Select the actual material and delivered fitting shape
Specify the full governing material document, edition, grade, condition and traceability for the chosen component. A234 and a234wpb references require accepted certificates. Different title materials should not be treated as interchangeable or automatically covered by the same conformity records.
The title says Tee and the table says Equal, but both actual variants use Reducer. Confirm the delivered shape through a run/branch drawing with nominal sizes, bores, outside diameters, center-to-end dimensions and branch arrangement. Clarify Hexagon and generic hole/thread fields against that drawing.
Define individual dimensions and welding preparation
The half-inch-to110-inch option does not demonstrate supply at every size. Agree individual availability, customized length/height, actual wall thickness and tolerances. Identify the B16.9 edition and applicable component requirements; no wall schedule is specified in this title.
Obtain manufacturing evidence for FORGED and identify the actual body route. Welding connectivity does not establish seam condition. Confirm mating pipe fit, end preparation, welding and inspection requirements. Agree Plain finish scope without assuming corrosion resistance or a protective surface treatment.
Set project acceptance beyond generic pressure labels
Pipe Class1000 has no stated numerical basis, and High Pressure is qualitative. Provide medium, pressure, temperature, cycling, loads and compatibility for the intended shipbuilding, offshore, oilfield, water or gas project. Obtain fitting/joint approval and agree material/manufacturing/dimensional documents, marking, confirmed size supply, quotation scope and warranty/OEM terms.
