This pipe fitting is listed for natural gas distribution, but its supply identity needs clarification. The title describes a reducing tee in stainless steel, whereas both available variants identify a reducer in carbon steel or a234wpb. Confirm the actual component before selecting material or dimensions.
Settle the component drawing before quotation
Provide an approved drawing showing the number and arrangement of connections, both end sizes and any branch dimensions. The table also uses Equal, which cannot resolve the tee/reducer difference. Confirm the intended transition, wall thickness, overall dimensions, tolerances and installation envelope.
The size option reads 1/2 inch to 110 inch while the table specifies Metric and customized dimensions. Identify the nominal sizing system and the exact size being ordered. A range label alone does not establish every intermediate size or a complete dimensional specification.
Identify the selected material and governing documents
Resolve stainless steel 304/316L in the title against the carbon steel and a234wpb options. Request the full selected designation, condition, traceability and material certificates. Allocate forged manufacture to actual production records, and identify the applicable API or ASME documents and editions rather than treating general title references as certification.
Define welding preparation, mating parts and inspection requirements. Clarify whether customized thread wording applies to an actual interface. Specify painting system, surface preparation, acceptance criteria and delivery protection for the ordered component.
Document the natural gas operating requirements
State gas composition, numerical operating pressure and temperature, cycling, corrosion exposure and mechanical loads. High Pressure and an Other class entry supply no numerical rating. Agree material and joint acceptance for the actual duty, supported by the resolved drawing, selected specifications, manufacturing, connection, coating and inspection records.
