This trunnion ball valve enquiry includes three-piece body and forged-construction requirements with the actual rating scope to be confirmed. Identify the selected model and request its assembly information before evaluating the operating duty. Body arrangement, internal support and material specifications need to be established for the same proposed valve.
Request the body assembly and internal support drawing
Ask for documentation showing the actual body-section arrangement and ball support. Confirm the required three-piece and trunnion configuration directly instead of inferring it from external bolts or a handwheel. Define the manual operating duty and actuation arrangement alongside the assembly requirements. A general valve photograph does not establish the internal construction or demonstrate a maintenance or service advantage.
Define material and pressure-designation scope
Specify the body, ball and seat materials separately and request the required construction records. A casting label does not identify an exact body grade or prove how the selected component was manufactured. State the governing standard and required pressure designation, then ask for the corresponding pressure-temperature documentation. Confirm temperature limits with consistent units and a clearly identified material and model scope.
Check the complete valve against the piping duty
Provide the flange, port and face-to-face dimensions required by the installation. Compare the selected drawing with the mating pipework and the operating arrangement. Include the intended medium, design pressure and temperature so that qualification can be reviewed for the actual configuration. Neither a broad pressure label nor a size range establishes rated-service suitability. Before accepting the valve, confirm the assembly, support, materials and interface together with the documented operating envelope, keeping every requirement tied to the selected model.
