This concentric butt-weld reducer enquiry includes SS304 and 316L references, but the title also says Malleable Cast Iron. Actual options list Stainless Steel, Alloy and Carbon Steel. Resolve the offered material before assigning a grade, manufacturing route or joining requirement; the title's combined wording does not qualify an actual metallurgy.
Reconcile stainless and cast-iron material descriptions
Obtain a complete material specification and traceable exact-grade records linked to the selected reducer. Do not assume SS304 and 316L are jointly qualified or use photographs to choose between stainless and cast iron. The actual menu does not contain a cast-iron option. Clarify the intended material and applicable dimensional requirements with editions and inspection evidence, rather than adding an unlisted grade or standard.
Verify concentric geometry and the actual reduction pair
Confirm large and small nominal sizes, outside diameters and walls, transition length, taper and centreline relationship. Resolve Equal before assigning unequal-end geometry, and distinguish the imported Elbow name from the supported reducer family. Gallery examples have differing apparent centreline relationships and do not assign the selected subtype. Explain each single millimetre option against both pipe ends. Define the required actual walls; no schedule is stated.
Separate production evidence from butt-weld assembly details
Clarify whether Seamless describes body manufacture and Welded Butt describes joining. Verify the actual route and Forged entry through production records instead of treating the terms as automatically contradictory or proven. Define end preparation, alignment and inspection with both adjoining pipes. Clarify coating and weld-zone condition beyond Painting. Establish the basis behind Pipe Class 150, then assess fluid, pressure, temperature, corrosion and loads for the full welded transition. Customized Size alone does not establish supplied dimensions; accept after material and geometry are reconciled.
