This pipe fitting enquiry covers stainless steel, Alloy and carbon steel choices under reducer, elbow and socket-coupling naming. Confirm the actual component construction before selecting it for a pipe transition or exhaust connection.

Identify the delivered component before defining the transition

The fifteen selections combine reducer with 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 50 mm or 30 mm and one of three material labels. Each metric size is a single label; it does not specify both ends of a reducing fitting.

Request an accepted drawing identifying the component subtype and equal or reducing geometry. For a reducer, include large and small end diameters, diameter basis, wall thicknesses, length, concentricity or offset and tolerances. An elbow or coupling enquiry needs its corresponding geometry. Photographs assist shape comparison without certifying the supplied dimensions or subtype.

Agree welding ends and the exact selected material

Specify whether the required connection uses socket or butt-weld ends, then define mating dimensions, preparation, wall compatibility and inspection acceptance. Hexagon wording does not establish the complete fitting form. Confirm the manufacturing route against the Forged requirement.

Stainless Steel, Alloy and Carbon Steel are material alternatives. Obtain the selected product specification, exact grade and traceable certificate; Alloy alone does not identify its composition. For painting, agree preparation, coating chemistry, thickness and service compatibility where needed.

Assess exhaust conditions and complete-joint acceptance

Exhaust wording does not establish thermal, corrosion or emissions qualification. Provide medium composition, operating temperature, pressure and cycling. Class 150 requires a governing rating basis and material assessment; it is not an independent 150 psi operating limit.

Customized Size and the 0.26 in mounting-hole entry do not complete the pipe ends. Send the accepted subtype drawing, both end dimensions, selected material evidence, welding and coating requirements, actual duty and inspection criteria for a specific fitting enquiry.
