This Q347F enquiry is presented as an API-standard WCB three-piece trunnion ball valve with manual control. Establish the actual selected body material, internal construction and supplied ends before accepting the assembly for a water, gas or other process duty.
Identify the Q347F assembly and exact API document
Use Q347F as the enquiry model identifier and request its selected assembly drawing. Confirm actual three-piece body, ball support and seat arrangement. Do not decode the model into unverified construction or rating. API Standard requires an exact document number, edition and conformity/test records; it does not establish a numbered API specification by itself.
Obtain the actual body, ball, stem and seat specifications with certificates and traceability. WCB wording requires selected grade confirmation, while Stainless Steel is also selectable. Carbon Steel ball material does not settle body composition. Casting is not a grade and needs actual production-route inspection.
Confirm end delivery and the selected port
Require the selected end drawing before matching the joint. For flanged supply, specify standard, rating system, facing, drilling, face-to-face length and compatible gasket/bolting requirements. A different gallery example does not establish welded delivery. Confirm manual torque, travel and installation access.
Actual sizes are 3/8 in, 1/2 in, 3/4 in and 1 in(2.54cm). Define nominal mapping and full or reduced bore; the broader 1/4in–4in wording does not identify the selected port. OEM changes need agreed dimensions, materials and acceptance criteria.
Define fluid and numerical operating acceptance
Low Pressure and Medium Pressure labels require selected clarification and a numerical pressure-temperature envelope. The 0–150 Celsius and 0–100 L/min entries are not simultaneous guarantees. Identify actual water/gas composition and contaminants; BASE is insufficient chemical detail. PTFE needs selected seal compatibility, and Control does not qualify throttling accuracy. Include normal/upset conditions, differential pressure, flow demand and acceptance tests.
