This forged stainless steel fitting is listed with Class 150 and chemical-resistant wording. The title combines tee and elbow terms, but the only variant is labelled Elbow. Clarify the actual component and connection arrangement before selecting it for a chemical or other piping application.
Establish the tee or elbow component drawing
Show the actual connections and any branch on an approved drawing. Confirm whether the title describes a component or a wider fitting category; the Equal entry does not settle that question. Specify the relevant angle, radius or branch dimensions only after the geometry has been established.
The variant size is 15 mm, while the table uses an inch system, length 2.8 in and hole 0.25 in. Allocate those values to real features and supply the missing unit for height 1. State actual nominal sizes, wall, tolerances, installation clearance and selected availability.
Define the stainless material and connection package
Specify the complete stainless grade, condition and governing document, with traceability, forging and inspection records. A material category alone does not establish a particular grade or conformity package. Identify the selected Class 150 basis at the actual material and temperature instead of treating the class number as a pressure value.
Resolve socket-weld and threaded wording with the Welding and NPT table entries. Provide an end schedule covering preparation, socket or thread dimensions, mating parts, sealing and examination. Agree measurable Smooth finish requirements and protection during storage and transport.
Assess chemical exposure against the selected supply
State the chemical composition and concentration, numerical operating pressure and temperature, cycling, environment and mechanical loads. The resistance wording is not approval for every chemical. Obtain relevant chemical, corrosion or UV evidence and document material/joint acceptance with the resolved drawing, selected interfaces, finish and inspection/testing requirements in the quotation.
