This manual top-entry ball valve enquiry combines a flanged connection request with carbon or stainless steel wording and PTFE sealing. Select the actual size and assembly, then confirm body construction, wetted materials and operating conditions before accepting the valve for a process line.
Top-entry construction and manual access
Obtain the selected assembly drawing to establish actual top-entry construction, maintenance access and manual operating arrangement. A handwheel photograph does not prove internal access design or operating torque. Define required isolation or regulating duty; Control alone does not establish throttling performance or accuracy.
Stainless Steel and Casting selections need precise material and manufacturing definitions. Casting is not a grade, and the actual production route requires confirmation against the forged enquiry. Request body, ball, stem and seat specifications with material traceability. Carbon Steel ball wording does not identify the body alloy or every wetted part.
Size and flange details for the selected assembly
The available sizes are 3/8 in, 1/2 in, 3/4 in and 1 in(2.54cm). Confirm nominal mapping, port bore and face-to-face length. The broader 1/4in–4in enquiry range does not establish availability of every size. Specify flange standard, rating, facing, drilling, mating gasket and bolting details.
PTFE sealing requires the selected seal design and actual medium compatibility. BASE does not identify a chemical. Provide composition, concentration and contaminants rather than assuming compatibility with every alkaline fluid. OEM customization needs an accepted drawing and inspection specification.
Pressure, temperature and flow as one operating envelope
Confirm the numerical pressure-temperature envelope for the selected variant; Low Pressure and Medium Pressure labels are insufficient. Treat 0–150 Celsius and 0–100 L/min as enquiry ranges requiring selected qualification, not simultaneous guaranteed limits. Supply normal and upset conditions, differential pressure, required flow and manual torque criteria. Include assembly/material records, seal compatibility, flange drawing and acceptance tests with the enquiry.
