This large-diameter carbon steel tee listing targets municipal water supply and includes a DN800 reference. The original image supports a tee form, while the selectable type is labeled Reducer. Confirm the ordered component and dimensional drawing before treating the nominal description as a measured configuration for the project.
Map DN800 to actual run and branch dimensions
DN800 does not by itself provide an outside diameter, bore or wall thickness. Specify run and branch nominal sizes together with actual diameters, wall requirements and center-to-end dimensions. Confirm Equal geometry and how the selected option maps to the approved tee drawing rather than relying on a broad range.
Agree actual welding end preparation, mating-pipe details, tolerances and dimensional inspection criteria. Hexagon, Customized Size and Metric entries do not supply measured values or establish the selected branch size. Use explicit units and a defined drawing revision for acceptance of the large fitting represented by the order.
Verify material and water-contact surface requirements
Obtain supplied grade, condition, traceability and material inspection documentation. Carbon Steel and a234wpb options are not certificates for the actual component. Request production evidence supporting Forged, with dimensional and end records linked to the approved configuration rather than inferred from the family image.
Specify Painting treatment, covered areas, surface acceptance and inspections for internal water and external exposure. Dark appearance does not identify coating chemistry or prove corrosion performance. Confirm any required water-contact approval through actual documentation; municipal use in a title does not establish potable-water compliance for the supplied material or treatment.
Define municipal water duty and delivery acceptance
Provide composition, treatment chemicals, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, transients and installation loads. High Pressure and Other class leave numerical limits unspecified. Assess the confirmed material, geometry, joint and surface package, then agree inspections, documentation, marking, preservation, handling and delivery against the actual system requirements before approval.
