This carbon steel elbow listing addresses offshore platforms with DN1200, welded and 3PE coating references. The variant instead provides a half-inch to 12-inch range, and the table lists Welding and NPT. Resolve the actual size and connection before accepting a large-diameter offshore fitting.
Reconcile DN1200 with the selected option and drawing
Obtain the ordered component drawing and confirm which product or size scope the option represents. DN1200 and the listed inch range do not establish one verified selection. Specify actual nominal size, outside diameter, bore, wall, angle, radius and centre-to-end dimensions without assuming a direct nominal-size conversion.
Confirm actual length, height and mating-pipe requirements. Repeated mounting-hole ranges and Hexagon wording do not establish a flange, threaded end or complete feature layout. The original photograph shows a red curved fitting but cannot measure diameter, verify a 90-degree angle or demonstrate fit with the offshore installation.
Verify actual ends, material and the 3PE package
Specify welded or threaded ends through a selected drawing. Clarify whether welded describes manufacture or installation, and verify actual processing against the FORGED entry. Request the supplied grade, condition, traceability and material/production inspection records rather than adopting general carbon wording as a certified material package.
Confirm the actual coating composition, preparation, thickness, coverage, end areas and acceptance tests. Red appearance and smooth table wording do not verify 3PE or corrosion performance. Agree protection and joint-area treatment for the actual exposure using supplied coating documentation, not an inferred coating system from colour.
Agree offshore conditions and traceable project acceptance
Provide medium, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, environmental exposure, loads and joint details. Low Pressure and Not Rated entries give no numerical operating limit. Identify governing specifications and editions, then agree material, dimensional, end, coating and required project tests with criteria and reports. The listing establishes no offshore approval, coating life or corrosion guarantee.
