This carbon steel elbow listing addresses pipeline projects with EN10253-2, a specified grade and butt-weld references. The option identifies an Elbow, while the table lists Welding and NPT. Confirm actual material, connection and dimensional requirements before accepting the fitting as compliant with a particular pipeline specification.
Identify the ordered standard and material evidence
Establish the EN10253-2 edition, product coverage, grade and project conformity requirements for the order. Request the supplied material specification, condition, traceability and inspection records. European-standard wording in the title does not certify the offered fitting or define the complete acceptance package for the selected installation.
Confirm actual manufacturing evidence against the FORGED entry and agree the supplied surface condition and protection. The original photograph shows two curved open-ended fittings; it cannot establish chemistry, grade or standard compliance. Smooth and corrosion-resistant labels do not demonstrate a measured finish or resistance to the actual medium and exposure.
Resolve ends and the selected 90-degree geometry
Use an end drawing to establish welded or threaded supply. Butt Weld and Welding wording does not resolve the NPT entry. Specify end preparation, bevels or selected threads, mating components and inspection criteria. Avoid assigning both connection methods without documented geometry for the actual ordered elbow.
The half-inch to 12-inch option is a range. Define nominal size, outside diameter, bore, wall, angle, radius and centre-to-end dimensions. Confirm actual length and height rather than copying range entries. Hexagon and mounting-hole fields do not prove a flange or hole layout, and the photograph cannot measure the stated angle.
Agree pipeline duty and traceable project acceptance
Provide medium composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, loads and environment. Low Pressure and Not Rated entries give no numerical allowable limit for the fitting. Review the documented material and geometry against the project. Agree material, dimensional, angle, radius, end, surface and required tests with criteria and traceable reports before approving supply.
