This construction listing describes a 45-degree long-radius elbow with DIN, SCH40 and NPT references. The title names grade 316 stainless steel, while the actual material option is Carbon Steel. Resolve the supplied material and end arrangement before selecting the component for the piping design.
Confirm material and connection details
Request the actual grade, condition and traceability records to establish whether the proposed elbow matches the stainless designation or the carbon steel option. The listing does not resolve that choice. A visual appearance cannot verify grade 316 or replace material documentation.
NPT is named in the title and table, but Welding also appears in the specification. Obtain the actual end drawing and mating requirements instead of choosing one installation method. Define the thread or weld preparation details and inspections applicable to the supplied configuration.
Turn SCH40 and LR into selected dimensions
Identify the numbered DIN specification and edition required by the project. Confirm outside diameter, wall thickness, bend radius, angle and center-to-end dimensions on the selected drawing. SCH40 and LR references do not provide one universal thickness or radius for every size.
The 1/2–12 inch pipe-size range is repeated under length, height and mounting-hole diameter, so those entries do not establish actual measurements. Clarify Hexagon wording for the proposed elbow. Agree production and surface inspections beyond FORGED, smooth and corrosion resistant descriptions, which supply no actual records or measured acceptance values.
Define construction service and purchase acceptance
Provide the medium, contaminants, pressure, temperature, transients, cycles and joint requirements. Low Pressure and Not Rated leave the numerical service limits unspecified. Confirm material, dimensional, end and surface documentation, marking, preservation and delivery for the approved configuration, with OEM and warranty terms agreed separately.
