Clarify the material and body-construction basis of this BW SCH40 carbon steel equal-tee enquiry. Its title combines ASTM A234 WPB, ASTM A105, SMLS, welded and forged references. These terms require allocation to the delivered component; they do not establish dual material certification or a verified manufacturing route.
Separate material options from title references
The two actual variants offer Carbon Steel or a234wpb, both under a Reducer type label. A105 is title context rather than a separate material option. Confirm the governing material document and edition, full grade, condition, traceability and accepted certificates for the individual quotation.
Resolve tee versus Reducer wording and the table’s Equal entry against an approved run/branch drawing. One inspected image shows smaller-branch tees; photographs cannot certify equal geometry. Specify both nominal sizes, bores, outside diameters, center-to-end dimensions and tolerances, and clarify the Hexagon field.
Document wall, body route and weld-end preparation
The half-inch-to110-inch range label does not prove supply at every size. Confirm individual availability and actual SCH40 wall dimensions at the selected ends. Agree mating pipe wall and butt-weld preparation; a connection intended for welding does not establish whether the body is welded or seamless.
Request evidence resolving the title’s SMLS/welded wording and the table’s FORGED claim. Define customized length/height and whether generic mounting-hole or thread entries apply. Agree Plain surface requirements without inferring a protective coating or grade from the dark reference images.
Establish numerical duty before accepting the fitting
High Pressure is qualitative, with Pipe Class and Application recorded as Other. Provide medium, pressure, temperature, cycling, external loads and compatibility requirements. Obtain complete fitting/joint acceptance and agree material/manufacturing/dimensional and weld inspection, marking, documentation, quotation scope and warranty/OEM terms.
