This oil and gas transportation enquiry describes hot-dip galvanized steel pipe with an A53 reference. The table identifies carbon steel, ERW manufacture and cold-rolled processing, but gives no galvanizing specification. Confirm the actual delivered coating and material package before selecting the pipe.

Specify galvanizing coverage and acceptance

Request the proposed coating process and whether protection covers the external surface, internal passage or both. Agree preparation, coating requirements, inspection and any repair criteria. Hot-dip wording alone does not provide a coating thickness or guarantee performance in the intended oil or gas environment.

Clarify how the cold-rolled table entry relates to production and subsequent treatment. Establish the required end condition and how joint preparation affects the coating under the actual purchase specification. The listing does not provide a complete connection or coating-repair procedure.

Confirm the material grade and exact pipe dimensions

Obtain the applicable A53 edition, selected grade, supply condition, chemistry, mechanical properties and ERW weld inspection records. A grade associated with another A53 listing should not be assumed here. Request traceability and documentation for the actual steel and galvanized delivery.

The options pair a 6–20 mm thickness entry with 6 m or 12 m length; outside diameter is listed as 219–1066 mm. Choose the exact combination and define the ±1% tolerance basis, straightness, ovality and end requirements. Confirm actual availability rather than interpreting the broad ranges as every offered size.

Assess the fluid duty and delivery requirements

Provide oil or gas composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles and loads for material, coating and joint review. The application wording does not establish universal compatibility or a numerical allowable pressure. Obtain actual certificate scope, agree tests and project acceptance, and reconfirm non-oiled preservation, actual-weight invoicing and the listed 8–14-day delivery timing.
