This painted tee listing uses an ASTM A403 WP316L stainless steel description, while the selectable materials are Carbon Steel and a234wpb and the types are labeled Reducer. The original image supports a tee form. Confirm the actual tee and supplied material before approving the piping connection.

Resolve the material and selected tee identity

Request the actual material designation, condition and traceability records to settle the stainless title against the carbon and WPB labels. Identify the required ASTM specification and edition with evidence covering the supplied component. Neither the title nor an option label provides a complete material certificate.

Obtain the drawing that links the proposed tee to the selected order option. The image confirms a general shape, not a verified variant, grade or dimensions. Confirm the available configuration rather than treating the shared 1/2–110 inch range as a selected tee size.

Define welded connection and surface acceptance

The table records Welding, but actual end preparation and mating-pipe requirements still need a drawing. Specify run and branch sizes, outside diameters, wall and center-to-end dimensions, with the required welding inspections. Equal wording does not supply measured branch dimensions or establish one universal connection detail.

Agree drawing units and tolerances beyond Customized Size and Metric fields, and clarify Hexagon wording. Request manufacturing evidence supporting FORGED. Define paint chemistry, coverage, thickness and inspection criteria; Painting and the pictured dark surface do not prove the actual supplied treatment or performance.

Set numerical piping requirements

Provide the medium, contaminants, pressure, temperature, cycles, transients and loads affecting the joint. High Pressure and Other class do not provide allowable numerical limits. Confirm material, production, dimensional, end and paint records, marking, preservation, availability and delivery for the approved component. Agree OEM requests and warranty terms separately from technical acceptance.
