Resolve material and resistance requirements
Request the accepted material designation, edition, grade, product condition and inspection traceability. Casting wording requires evidence appropriate to that selected material and production route. Dark or bright appearance in the reference images cannot establish composition, grade or manufacturing compliance.
Define the actual fluid and any relevant concentration, temperature and exposure conditions. Flexible, corrosion-resistant, chemical-resistant and UV-resistant labels provide no quantified performance on their own. State the acceptance criteria required by the project instead of assuming suitability for an unspecified application.
Dimension the SCH40 long-radius elbow
Identify what the 10 mm label measures and show both ends on a drawing. Specify the requested 90-degree angle, centerline radius, center-to-end dimensions, bore, wall and tolerances. SCH40 needs the accepted nominal size and dimensional standard before a wall value can be established.
Reducing shape wording requires separate inlet and outlet dimensions. The 4 in overall length, unitless height 4 and 0.25-inch mounting-hole entry describe other roles; do not substitute them for pipe-end sizes or invent the missing height unit. Define female/NPT features and mating interfaces by the relevant end.
Set a measurable operating duty
Provide pressure, temperature, cycling, environmental exposure and mechanical loads. Class 150 naming needs its governing standard and material-temperature basis, while low-pressure wording gives no numerical limit. Confirm the intended application, installation and inspection requirements, requested OEM or ODM scope, and the stated one-year warranty terms with the quotation.
