This refinery process pipe listing combines an A335 P11 reference with ERW, carbon steel and thick-wall wording. Its table records non-alloy carbon steel. Confirm the actual material designation and specification before selecting the pipe, since the combined labels do not provide a verified grade and manufacturing package.
Resolve the material and manufacturing designation
Request the selected grade and chemical composition, material condition, mechanical properties and traceability records. Ask the supplier to reconcile P11 with the generic carbon steel and non-alloy fields. Neither classification should be adopted from the heading alone when the actual material evidence is missing.
Establish the applicable A335 edition and scope for the offered production route. The ERW and cold-rolled entries require actual manufacturing, weld and inspection documentation, including heat treatment where specified. Do not change the route to seamless or assume standard conformity simply to make the title appear consistent.
Specify dimensions for the selected process line
Two length choices, 6 m and 12 m, share a 6–20 mm thickness entry. The listed outside-diameter range is 219–1066 mm. Choose one exact diameter, wall and length combination and confirm its availability, end requirements, straightness and ovality limits.
Clarify the dimensional basis for ±1% and the measurement procedure. Thick Wall and High Pressure do not establish a numerical capacity. Material and joint assessment must use the actual dimensions and governing project requirements, rather than the broad catalogue range.
Assess the refinery stream and acceptance evidence
Provide stream composition, contaminants, pressure, temperature, operating cycles, thermal changes and mechanical loads. Any demanding refinery exposure needs its own compatibility and inspection review. Obtain actual certificate scope instead of relying on API or ISO 9001 labels, then agree testing, non-oiled preservation, actual-weight invoicing and delivery confirmation for the chosen supply.
