This carbon steel fitting enquiry is presented as an ASTM A234 WPB low-pressure reducer for construction. Confirm the actual component identity before accepting a reducer or flange requirement, then define its exact dimensions and certified material.
Identify the supplied part before selecting an end pair
The actual selection is labelled Flange / 1/2-inch x 1-inch to 20-inch x 24-inch / Carbon Steel. This is one broad pair-range option, rather than a list of individually available sizes. Obtain accepted component identification and a complete drawing.
For reducer supply, specify both end diameters, diameter basis, bores, walls, transition length, concentricity or offset, end preparation and tolerances. For a flange request, specify construction, bore, thickness, outside diameter, facing and drilling. Reducer-shaped photographs cannot certify the delivered component or its dimensions.
Replace range assumptions with measured acceptance requirements
The same pair-range wording appears under length, height and mounting-hole diameter. Request actual values for the ordered part; those repetitions do not establish measured geometry. Agree the joining arrangement, manufacturing route and finish instead of interpreting Other as a defined connection, coating or thread form.
Carbon Steel is the only actual material choice. Stainless wording does not create a separate selectable material. Obtain the exact material specification, grade and traceable certificate supporting any ASTM A234 WPB requirement, together with the relevant manufacturing and inspection records.
Qualify construction duty without assuming a pressure rating
Low Pressure and Not Rated provide no numerical working envelope. Construction Engineering does not establish approval for a particular fluid or temperature. State actual medium, operating pressure, temperature and cycling for assessment of the complete installed joint.
Send accepted subtype, selected end sizes and measured drawing, material certificate, manufacturing and joining requirements, finish, governing rating basis and inspection criteria with the intended operating conditions. Material or service acceptance should follow these selected documents.
